Aspirin Masks for Hidradenitis suppurativa, Acne and any old clogged pore!

Recently, Majestic and I have been making aspirin masks and using them where we get clogged pores. This could look like putting it on your inner thighs, faces, arms, anywhere you have skin that gets clogged. The aspirin dries out the skin so be mindful of that!!

What You’ll Need:

uncoated aspirin (most recipes called for 8 aspirins, but we’re fat so I used waaaaaaay more than that)

mortar and pestle OR something heavy to crush the aspirin! (we used a rolling pin and put the aspirin in a plastic bag while we did it)

Tea Tree Oil

boiling water

To Make:

Crush the aspirin to a powder. It’s fine if you can’t get the aspirin broken down all the way

Putting the ground aspirin in a small bowl, I add about 3-5 drops of tea tree oil and maybe 1/4 tsp of boiling water.

Be careful about adding too much water, you want the consistency of a thick paste

Spread the paste where you need it

Wait for it to dry!

Scrub the dried paste off like an exfoliator and rinse!

Like I said, this does tend to really dry out the skin so you could, if your skin can handle it, exfoliate to remove the dead skin

We’ve done this mask twice and are already seeing great results!!!
